Dear Bethesda Family,
I am excited to begin “Daily Life” (reading the New Testament in 2007) starting Monday January 1st with all of you! I want to report a couple of recent developments.
* The ‘Daily Life’ links are now functional on our new church website! There are many helpful resources there for you, or to forward to a friend you are inviting along on the DL journey. Please browse the helpful links at: http://www.bethesdalutheran.org/dailylife.php
* I am also excited to let you know that we are assembling a team of people who will host weekly or other periodic blog journal entries on our daily readings. These include Don Pardun, Karen Peikert, John & Kathy Wile, Laurie Erdman, Steve Louden, Pastor Adam Berge, Londa Wagner, Brian Quade, Deetje Wildes, Mary Pierce, Drew Clausen and myself. These may include devotional thoughts on the text, pictures, other web links, etc. My hope is that it becomes one more way for people to share the blessing of God’s Word, and for more and more people to interact with scripture and each other.
For those of you new to blogging, it isn’t nearly as intimidating as it sounds! The word ‘blog’ is short for ‘web log’. A blog is an informal journal posting, sometimes text only, sometimes also with images and other links. Others who click on a blog entry have the ability to post their own follow-up comments.
Visit often; read and share your own thoughts!

Coming Really Soon...
This is the spot to find and post reflections, comments, and questions about our daily readings in the New Testament. Beginning January 1st, men and women from our congregation will post their thoughts here, and all of us have the opportunity to respond, add our own comments, and engage each other in thoughtful discussion, as we journey through the Bible together.
